Analytics researcher Quentin Wendegass tested 23 AI agents against human web sessions to evaluate bot detection evasion. While most browser-based agents spoofed standard Chrome user agents and residential IPs, mouse cursor trajectory correctly flagged every automated agent across 49 test runs.
User-agent bot detection is dead; security models now require pointer-physics telemetry. Founders must implement movement-physics telemetry to prevent AI browser agents from scraping gated app data undetected.
