Rule 1

Editorial firewall

Sponsorship buys placement, not protection. We cover competitors, alternatives, and adjacent products without restriction — including in your placement window.

Rule 2

No previews

You see the full issue when readers do. Sponsor copy is approved separately, before the issue is composed.

Rule 3

Coverage heads-up

If your direct competitor is the lead news story in the issue you sponsor, we tell you 24h ahead. You can reschedule or refund. The story still ships.

Rule 4

Refund window

Cancel any placement up to 48h before send for a full refund. After that, prorated — whether you cancel or we publish competing coverage.

Rule 5

No category lock-out

Sponsoring as a CRM doesn’t buy you the CRM beat. We rotate sponsors across the calendar — you get per-issue exclusivity, not category exclusivity.

Rule 0

If we break a rule

Refund, full. Public note in the next issue explaining what happened. Founding rate stays valid through the rest of the 6-month window, no questions.

The firewall is the asset. We’d rather lose a placement than a reader’s trust — and a publication readers trust is the only thing worth sponsoring.
